The Kitsap History Museum preserves and interprets stories from communities across Kitsap County. Exhibits draw on artifacts, photographs, documents, and period displays, connecting local lives to shipbuilding, commerce, transportation, home life, and cultural change.

The museum itself occupies a 1950s Art Deco former bank in downtown Bremerton, placing the collection inside part of the county's built history.
