The Suquamish Veterans Memorial stands at the site locally known as Totem Pole Hill. Its upright poles and beams represent home, while carved figures watch for the arrival of friends or enemies. Symbolic canoes carry the names of Suquamish veterans and other veterans connected with the community.
The memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day in 2010 and remains a focus for annual community remembrance.
