This solemn waterfront memorial marks the place where Japanese American residents of Bainbridge Island were forced onto a ferry on March 30, 1942, during the incarceration ordered in World War II. The memorial is part of Minidoka National Historic Site and centers survivor and community memory.
An outdoor interpretive wall and self-guided setting invite reflection. Visitors should approach the site quietly and respectfully.
