Veterans Plaza at American Legion Park

Veterans Plaza at American Legion Park
Veterans Plaza at American Legion Park

Description

Veterans Plaza overlooks American Legion Park and the Poulsbo waterfront. Poulsbo Post 245 developed the plaza to mark the American Legion centennial, with community support, engraved pavers, a flagpole, and a setting intended for remembrance and public gathering.

The park land itself was donated by World War I veteran Selmer Myerboe and remains part of downtown Poulsbo's public waterfront network.
